Philippa has extensive experience in the design and development of innovative online solutions for selection and development. Philippa believes passionately in the value of psychological research to inform and produce effective, engaging and evidence-based assessments.
Philippa’s main interests lie in applying technology, research and evidence to find better ways to meet Clients’ assessment and development needs. Philippa’s particular areas of interest are the design of innovative tools for selection including Situational Judgement Tests, Virtual Assessment Centres, and game based assessments. Philippa draws on scientific research to inform her work, and has written numerous articles and presented at conferences on a variety of topics.
Philippa’s experience in the assessment space primarily involves the creation of innovative online assessments and simulations for all role levels, from non-management through to senior managers and executives. She has extensive experience of conducting job analysis and designing competency frameworks, and of designing rigorous assessment processes around these including business simulations, situational judgement tests, competency based interviews and virtual Assessment Centres. Philippa has designed and delivered 1:1 leadership assessments for senior managers and executives using behavioural simulations and ‘deep dive’ structured interviews based around various psychometric tools to identify individual strengths and risk areas.
Philippa has experience of designing and using tools to facilitate development, including behavioural simulations and psychometrics. She has been a designer and assessor for senior development centre programmes, creating innovative bespoke exercises and delivering 1:1 feedback. Philippa has developed a number of 360 feedback tools, and has facilitated development discussions using these.

Dan brings a passion for evidence-based psychology and desire to help people improve their wellbeing and performance. He has worked for several HR consultancies, gaining over 20 years’ experience in the design, development and implementation of psychology solutions in business. Over his career he has developed a wide variety of different psychometric tools.
His main strengths and areas of interest lie in psychometric measurement, technology-based assessment and development (particularly mobile apps) and data analytics.
Dan loves the insights that high quality psychometric tools can provide to individuals. They provide a lens or framework to help individuals really understand themselves and others better – a foundation for a powerful discussion with a facilitator or coach. He finds it very rewarding to be building and delivering products which can have a transformative impact on people’s lives inside and outside of their work.

Jill has had in-house roles in a number of large organisations – Ford, Diageo and Zurich. Working with these organisations has given her practical insight and understanding about the challenges faced by organisations and leaders. Combined with about fifteen years in leadership roles, her aim is to bring experience, inspiration but also pragmatism to the team and the work they do.
Having worked in corporations and as a consultant, Jill is able to apply her business experience to develop practical, bespoke, and creative solutions to performance challenges at work. She works with organisations, leaders and teams who want to improve performance by changing behaviour and building skill.

Kat is driven by her passion to help individuals and organisations achieve their full potential and enjoys taking a pragmatic approach with her clients. She has managed and delivered a range of UK and International talent management projects, including the identification of future leaders and best practise end-to-end assessment, development and behavioural change solutions for clients who span the globe and numerous industries, such as FMCG, financial services, telecoms, pharmaceuticals and retail.
Kat’s main areas of interest include talent identification, leadership development and resilience & wellbeing, as well as helping organisations to demonstrate the measurable business impact of their HR interventions.
Principal R&D Consultant
Ali is an experienced business psychologist with a passion for using psychology, technology and psychometric test design to help organisations and individuals thrive. He has a particular interest in designing innovative solutions, which combine technology and scientific rigour to help deliver a measurable business impact.
Ali is passionate about delivering innovative, technology driven solutions that deliver positive change within organisations. He enjoys building strong working relationships with his clients to ensure that he helps identify the best solution and supports them to achieve their business goals. He has a particular interest in using his expertise to help individuals achieve their potential and designing inclusive, immersive and fair recruitment processes. Ali draws on leading edge innovations in business psychology to inform his work, and has written numerous articles and presented at conferences on a variety of topics (Resilience, SJT design, employee engagement.
Ali has extensive experience in leading the design of technology enabled high volume recruitment solutions for a range of clients. He has designed a variety of solutions covering the entire end to end recruitment cycle, from attraction, sifting out to selecting in eg VR Realistic Job Previews, Multimedia assessments, Situational Judgement Tests, assessment apps, Culture/Motivation/Behvaioural fit measures, Virtual Assessment Centre Exercises, Online interviewing tools to name a few. Ali specialises in designing high-volume assessment solutions and in 2017, he and his colleagues won the ABP Excellence in Assessment Award for a recruitment solution he led the design of. His experiences in assessment are extremely varied and has worked with a range of clients; some notable industries include retail, hospitality, FMCG, housing associations, finance and public sector.
Ali has designed a range of online questionnaires, workbooks and courses to help individuals meet their potential and enhance their employability skills, mindset, and motivation. He is fascinated by the topics of employee engagement and resilience, facilitating a range of workshops and interventions with employees to help improve organisational effectiveness. He is one of our course directors, frequently delivering tailored and bespoke workshops around Resilience, SIFT, SJT design and our BPS accredited TUO:A and TUO:P psychometric courses. He has upskilled professionals from a variety of sectors, e.g. financial services, pharmaceuticals, charities, housing associations, public sector etc.
Senior Consultant
Andrew’s early training as an engineer stays with him in several ways, and over a decade on he still loves creating elegant solutions to client requirements, always work with the clients end goal and objectives in mind. As an Army Officer he learned a lot about real-life leadership and hold ‘care’ as one of its primary components. He also learned that he has a talent for connecting very naturally with a wide variety of people and that he gains huge satisfaction from helping people fill their own potential.
Andrew gets a real buzz from helping people to discover and live to their potential. He finds that so often people are unnecessarily and unconsciously limiting their performance and wellbeing, and he loves helping people really grow and shine, both in and out of work. Junior Product & Training Consultant
Becca has two basic personal life goals – to be happy and to be healthy. Very early on she realised that understanding and learning about psychology could not only help her achieve these, but could help others too. She loves to know that what she’s done has made a positive difference to someone else however small. She also loves the way that psychology is interconnected with everything we do and that everyone can relate to it at some level.
Having recently qualified Becca is a lot more open and aware of current research and trends that area affecting organisations worldwide. Her background in sport is and continues to be a massive influence on her outlook. An important factor in sports training is patience; training for days, months, years to hopefully achieve or change something. Therefore she likes to think she brings patience and the understanding that even one small drop can make a ripple in the water!
Becca has experience in supporting and delivering assessment centres for candidate selection as well as the application of psychometrics. She is experienced at delivering 1:1 feedback and has facilitated development programmes and workshops using both 360 reports and Emotional Intelligence psychometrics.

Bill has over 25 years career coaching and counselling experience. He has taught career coaching skills ay post-graduate level and has co-designed and delivered a range of career tools and materials which have been delivered internationally. Bill has designed and delivered development centres and has played key roles in the development and delivery of award-winning workshops and programmes. He has delivered coaching to senior levels at team and individual levels. Bill has also trained in mental health and wellbeing and co-designed and delivered resilience workshops and associated material.

With 5+ years’ experience within Business Psychology, Freddie enjoys working with individuals to find the best solution for their organisational and personal development goals. Senior Consultant
Georgina is committed to the application of evidence-based theory and rigorous delivery of the behavioural assessment process to achieve valid selection outcomes. She builds relationships with stakeholders to understand and guide solutions to match the client’s unique needs, and shares best-practice assessment methodology through the delivery of engaging training.
Georgina’s interests are driven by a desire to help organisations succeed through selecting and developing the best talent in an objective way, that enhances diversity within an organisation. She has a particular interest in improving gender-diversity in traditionally male-dominated industries.
Georgina has experience in the delivery and facilitation of assessment centres for junior, mid and senior level recruitment, using Online and traditional AC delivery methods, for individual, one-on-one and group exercises. She has also worked with key stakeholders to build online exercises using the VirtualAC platform, for assessment in recruitment, promotion and development contexts, in multiple languages and sectors. Her experience includes assessment for restructure in varied organisations, where she has taken on a variety of roles; including candidate assessment, centre design and co-management. In addition to behavioural assessment, Georgina has experience in designing Situational Judgment Tests. Her combined experience has been within multiple industries, including logistics, finance, FMCG, defence, aviation, pharmaceutical and the Public Sector.
Georgina enjoys training clients in the behavioural assessment process, for use in assessment or development centres including competency-based interviewing skills, assessor skills and successful centre management. She is also experienced in the use of different client competency frameworks and developing exercise content to directly measure these criteria.
Chief Psychologist
Emotional Intelligence (EI) is about being all that you can be; managing your resources and potential to thrive and succeed in work and life more broadly. Jo applies this principle to both his work and personal life as an endurance athlete. For him, it is as much about physical self-management as it is about psychological awareness. We are all born with the innate resources to thrive and grow, but need to learn how to harness them through the application of EI.
Jo has over 25 years of experience working across the work-life spectrum, from raising the self-esteem in long-term unemployed adults to facilitating team development programmes with senior leaders. Across all aspects of his work, Jo believes he provides a highly pragmatic and realistic approach to making a positive difference to peoples’ lives.
Jo’s area of expertise is in developing and applying Emotional Intelligence in the workplace. He particularly enjoys creating new products and resources that help individuals, teams and organisations to improve. Much of which is described in his recent book; Emotional Intelligence at Work; How to make change stick. It is important for him to see what he produces put into practice, so he stays closely involved in the delivery of training and consultancy services.

Lauren has over 10 years of experience working with a range of clients to design and deliver valid, robust and innovative assessment and development solutions. She has extensive experience designing online platforms to deliver these solutions and is passionate about utilising technology within the field of Occupational Psychology.
Lauren is passionate about identifying and implementing technology solutions to deliver the best assessment and development solutions to clients. She has liaised with IT colleagues and developed several online platforms that have been used globally, to help hire individuals from a range of sectors and level of seniority. Lauren has significant experience working internationally; she spent time working in several states in Australia, Dubai, Sweden and Norway, to ensure the successful implementation of key client projects. She has experience of working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and enjoys building relationships with clients, enabling her to effectively adapt her approach to changing priorities.
Lauren has extensive experience of designing, developing and implementing a range of assessment solutions for clients. These include; situational judgement tests, values-based assessments, realistic job previews, competency-based interviews and ability assessments (numerical, verbal and logical). Previously, Lauren managed a team of Occupational Psychologists and Technology and System Implementation colleagues, who were responsible for the overall design and delivery of all client projects. This was through the entire client assessment lifecycle; from initial scoping through to delivering and evaluating project outcomes. Lauren also has significant experience in designing and delivering assessment centre exercises and can utilise technology to develop engaging and immersive experiences for candidates and clients alike. Lauren is also assessor trained and can provide feedback on a range of psychometric tools and provide 360-degree feedback.
Lauren has designed and delivered development centres for a range of clients, from junior managers through to senior executives. As part of this process, Lauren has provided individuals with comprehensive feedback and coaching, using a range of psychometric and 360 data. She has been involved in the design and implementation of future and emerging talent programmes, both utilising online platforms and face to face programmes. She has designed several 360-degree questionnaires and implemented two of these into an online system, to help individuals continuously develop. In addition to the client facing development work, Lauren has experience in researching and building organisation-wide competency frameworks, both in the UK and internationally. With extensive experience in training, Lauren is also able to run BPS accredited training courses and has experience in a wide variety of psychometric tools.

A business psychologist with over 20 years’ consultancy experience, who has worked with a wide range of clients from different industries in the UK and overseas. He specialises in identifying talent and coaching and developing managers.
Mike’s interests focus on identifying what ‘good’ looks like in any job, and then helping organisations to define and measure the skills and qualities which will lead to outstanding performance. He has done business in over 50 countries and, because of his previous career in international marketing, he can quickly assimilate the culture of an organisation and he understands the challenges faced by managers in large organisations.
Mike has extensive experience of assessment for Selection & Recruitment. He regularly conducts job analysis to identify the behaviours required for success and designs relevant and realistic simulations to measure these. He has designed and run a large number of assessment and development centres to enable clients to identify the best talent using simulations, interviews and psychometrics. He has also designed virtual assessments that can be used remotely and online 360 feedback questionnaires. He has designed and delivered 1:1 executive assessments in a wide range of sectors to measure current performance and future potential. These use a combination of simulations, ‘deep dive’ interviews and a range of personality tools. Mike also provides feedback to candidates, helps them to create Personal Development Plans and provides follow-up coaching for senior leaders.
Mike has designed Development Centres to help global organisations to benchmark the skills of their current managers, to identify high-potential employees and to accelerate their development. He has also designed and delivered workshops focusing on specific skills such as Leadership, Influencing, Negotiation, Time Management, Customer Focus and Emotional Intelligence. Mike has helped managers to increase their Resilience and their ability to deal with pressure and periods of change. He also regularly trains managers to act as assessors and he runs our BPS accreditation courses for those wishing to learn to use ability tests and personality questionnaires.

Ross is an experienced consultant with over 10 years of experience in assessment and development. He has worked with not for profit, public and private sector organizations across a wide range of industries, most notably retail, banking, real estate and FMCG. He is comfortable operating across all levels with experience working with individuals from graduate to board level. Ross has delivered and managed many complex projects to design and deliver bespoke, end to end, assessment solutions for clients, including job analysis, assessment design as well as monitoring and evaluation. He has experience working on projects for recruitment, promotion, restructure and redundancy and recognizes the challenges that comes from these different contexts.
Ross has designed and delivered bespoke development workshops to address a variety of specific client needs, from a series of workshops designed to help support apprentices on their first step into the working world to workshops for new and experienced managers, focussed on demonstrating authentic leadership and increasing emotional intelligence. He has designed and delivered, individual and group, assessment processes to identify where individual development should be targeted and then provided coaching support to help individuals process their feedback and identify a plan of action for their own development. Ross is also very experienced in training our clients on the skills required to design and deliver their own best practice assessment solutions, including test user qualifications for ability and personality testing.

Sally is a Business Psychologist, specialising in Emotional Intelligence and training. She has several years experience delivering a range of training programmes for clients, including: e-learning, webinar-based learning and face-to-face facilitation. During her career she has become proficient in designing, developing and refining training offerings, including e-learning, web-based learning and face-to-face training. She also has experience in designing and developing assessment and development offerings for clients. Her background is in Psychology, and she has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology from Northumbria University. Sally is certified in a range of psychometric assessments including Emotional Intelligence, ability and personality.

Sarah Speers is a Chartered Psychologist (Occupational) and HCPC registered, with 20 years consultancy experience working within the private sector and public sector. Her work includes Test User Ability & Personality (previously Level A and B) training and Emotional Intelligence accreditation programmes, profiling at a graduate and executive level, assessment centres, individual effectiveness programmes, competency framework design as well as a variety of other bespoke consultancy projects.
Sarah’s main focus is training and facilitation – working with groups to introduce our model and support them to become competent and confident in using our EI tools.
She brings to the team the stories, the experience, the individuals that she has worked with and the knowledge of the relationships she has developed in this time.
Sarah’s focus is on training for development. Her experience ranges from coaching, to facilitating accreditations (such as the Emotional Intelligence Profile Accreditation) and leadership programmes for development. She also has experience using psychometrics for developmental exploration sessions.

As a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, Sophie brings an understanding of what makes people tick to the table. She has also been practicing and teaching mindfulness for the past 20 years and use this as a tool to develop Emotional Intelligence.
Her early career was in organisational development, which lead her to focus on the wider system clients and organisations are working within and to ensure alignment with culture, strategy and values. She brings professional rigour, compassion and a quest for achieving positive outcomes to the team and my client work.
She loves creating and hosting spaces for people to learn. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing people make new connections and insights and feel safe enough to show authentically.
R&D Consultant
With 7+ years of Business Psychology experience Steph is currently specialising in research and development, working as a trainee Occupational Psychologist. During her time working in this area she has been involved in a number of valuable internal and external organisational projects, and her involvement with a number of business areas has provided her with a wide base for her own personal development.
Discovering how business psychologists can support people through applying Emotional Intelligence, and personally observing positive change in others following intervention is what drives Steph.
With a strong ability to connect with others and a desire to provide a first-class service to our clients, Steph is a ‘people person’ and brings valuable communication skills to the team. Linking this with her preference for organisation and planning, she works at the heart of many cross-team projects providing successful project and communication management.
Steph has experience in product development, product validation, and psychometric test construction, working with internal and external stakeholders. She has experience working with clients to create solutions, having involvement in every stage, from initial scoping to final implementation, whether that be 1:1 feedback, group facilitation, or group data analysis.

Temi is a Senior Consultant with extensive experience in the design, development and delivery of robust assessment solutions. Temi has a strong focus on providing clients with solutions with a clear, measurable business impact.
Temi is interested in implementing valid assessment and selection interventions which are aligned with industry best practice guidelines. This includes a focus on promoting diversity and inclusion and ensuring solutions are fair, objective and valid. Temi has significant experience of working internationally and has spent time supporting clients across APAC, Europe and North America. Her experience has lent itself to forming trusted relationships with clients and providing expert advice to help reach organisational goals.
Temi has experience designing end-to-end solutions for clients including situational judgement tests, customised reports, ability tests, interview processes and assessment centres. These solutions have been implemented for front-line staff through to C-Suite executives across diverse industries. She is especially skilled in data analysis and has conducted validation studies to ensure assessments are valid, reliable and deliver ROI. Furthermore, Temi has experience managing global selection projects and ensuring projects are fit for purpose across various regions. Temi has facilitated bespoke training sessions to enable clients to use solutions according to industry best practice. She has also run BPS accredited training courses and has experience using world-renowned psychometric tools.
Temi has designed and delivered bespoke development interventions for a range of clients. This includes facilitating Team Development workshops as well as acting as a Lead Assessor for Executive Development programmes. Temi has provided in-depth individual feedback to senior managers which has resulted in the creation of targeted personal development plans. She has also managed comprehensive 360 projects and overseen the design and delivery of 360 questionnaires as well as provided individual and group level feedback.
Research Consultant
Tom is a Research Consultant with experience of job analysis, organisational change and product related consultancy. His skills include product and assessment design across a range of areas within the business psychology space.
Tom has a particular interest in the intersection of psychology and technology in order to meet clients’ talent management needs. He currently works on the continuing development of PSI’s VirtualAC tool, which is used to deliver virtual assessment and development centres at an international level. One of Tom’s main interests is in the use of behavioural simulations to accurately predict workplace performance which he undertakes alongside his work on PSI’s flagship personality tool, the 16pf. He is also a keen proponent of positive candidate experience within the assessment space, and has presented at conferences on the topic.
Tom is interested in the use of the full range of technology within the assessment space and helping to ensure assessments are available to a wider range of individuals through the use of mobile delivered design.
Principal Associate Consultant
Anne is a Principal Associate Consultant and has worked with PSI talent management since 2008. She has held corporate office roles and operational roles throughout the UK and Europe reporting to Board level.
Anne’s interests centre around finding the people solutions for business issues. She believes successful individuals, teams and organisations thrive commercially and get the greatest return as a direct result of effective talent management strategies. Anne has delivered a range of interventions that have made a real difference by assessing and developing behaviours to match future needs to maximise performance and minimise disruption. She encourages leaders to think and see things from different perspectives and to focus on areas of performance that will bring the greatest return.
Anne has worked within retail, banking, automotive, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, housing associations, recruitment and public sector health. She holds several qualifications and memberships including Psychology BSc (Hons), Graduate in Common Purpose, MSP Programme Management and Prince2 Project Management, Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is Ability Test & Personality Test trained.
Senior Associate Consultant
Chrissie has worked with PSI talent management since 2009 and has almost 20 years’ experience of assessment for selection and leadership development in the public and private sector.
Chrissie’s early career was in retail Banking and she worked in house as a recruitment consultant before leaving to set up as an external assessment consultant in 2005. She has a wealth of experience in competency based behavioural assessment and was one of the founder members of the UK Assessment Centre Group, whose aim is to promote best practice in Assessment Centres delivery in the UK. Chrissie believes passionately that everyone has the right to love the job that they do and is an advocate of strengths based leadership. Much of her time is spent coaching clients on a one-to-one basis as well as designing and delivering leadership team workshops. She also loves observing and coaching at leadership development centres for the insight that they bring to clients around enhancing their leadership skills.
Chrissie is a member of the British Psychological Society having graduated from the Open University in 2016 with a First-class honours degree in Psychology. She is on the British Psychological Society register of qualified test users, previously known as level A&B. Psychometric questionnaires that Chrissie has trained in include OPQ by SHL, Wave by Saville Consulting, Dimensions by Talent Q, Strengthscope and Strengthscope Team by Strengths Partnership and Resilience by PSI talent management. Jon is a Principal Associate Consultant and has worked with PSI talent management since 2008. He is an experienced business consultant working primarily in performance coaching, management and leadership development, assessment, strategic planning, communication and employee engagement.
Jon has worked extensively with aspiring and senior leaders to identify strengths, development needs and overcome potential derailing behaviours. He enjoys working 1:1, with small teams or large groups and is programme leader for a range of learning and development programmes – from apprenticeships at Levels 3 & 5, and post-MBA level awards.
Jon has worked in a wide range of sectors including retail, automotive, financial services, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, manufacturing, IT and computing, professional services, housing associations, FMCG, facilities management, local government, central government and policing.

Senior Associate Consultant
Jo Davis has worked with PSI talent management as a Senior Associate since 2009. She has over 20 years’ experience in developing leaders and emerging leaders in both the public and private sector. As well as Assessment and Development Centres, Jo’s experience covers developing inspiring learning solutions, expert facilitation and coaching.
Jo sees her role and purpose as providing a catalyst for enhanced performance. She is particularly interested in working with individuals during transition points in their careers – either to a more senior role, working within a new organisation or through periods of significant change. She enjoys working with high potential individuals and managers to enable them to realise their potential and their aspirations.
Jo has wide ranging sector experience that includes retail, Fortune 100, automotive, airlines, banking, pharmaceutical, professional services, housing associations, FMCGs and facilities management. She is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), is Ability Test & Personality Test trained and holds a Practitioner Diploma of Executive Coaching.
Senior Associate Consultant
Heidi is a Principal Associate Consultant and has worked with PSI talent management since 2011. She has previously held HR, OD, Change and Leadership positions in-house and now works with a wide range of organisations to identify and develop talent to build business capability, performance and enable organisational transformation.
Heidi is an expert in creating strategies to provide talent insights to enable both organisations and individuals to perform and transform. She deploys a range of diagnostic tools and a people-centred and strengths-based approach to maximise alignment between the organisation’s and individual’s needs. Heidi has significant interest in developing bespoke capability and competency frameworks in partnership with organisations to enable professional and career development and to underpin overall talent strategy. Heidi takes a keen interest in the latest research from the fields of neuroscience and behavioural science and uses this to inform and refine her approach.
Heidi has worked across many sectors, including policing, Criminal Justice, NHS, local government, healthcare, retail, industrial goods and aviation. She holds a Masters in HR, Diploma in Performance Coaching, is Ability Test & Personality Test qualified and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and a member of the BPS RQTU.

Sue has been a Senior Associate Consultant with PSI talent management since 2011 and has over 20 years’ experience. She has held senior management positions in both HR consultancy and business and she combines her broad commercial and business experience for the benefit of the organisations and leaders she works with.
Sue designs and delivers innovative and dynamic training and learning strategies and interventions including blended and e-learning solutions for leaders/participants at all levels to deliver organisation change. She enjoys working 1:1 and with groups and is not afraid to challenge the status quo to bring about real change in behaviour. Sue’s facilitation style is collaborative, she engages individuals through their knowledge and expertise to share and learn from each other. Sue also enjoys coaching individuals throughout their career, believing that this approach is critical to the development of people.
Sue has worked on an international basis with clients from the financial, pharmaceutical, retail, FMCG, charity, NHS and automotive industries. She is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), is Ability Test & Personality Test qualified and is an Accredited Coach with ICF (ACC).

Sharan has always been fascinated by people, how people work and why, and so it is great to be working in a company and role that allows her to pursue this passion. She enjoys building relationships with her clients and partnering with them to work towards meeting their business priorities and solving their unique challenges. She also appreciates being surrounded by opportunities to continuously learn from both her clients and her experienced colleagues.
Sharan is a Business Psychologist specialising in the applications of Emotional Intelligence for both assessment and development purposes. Having been in various client facing roles, Sharan enjoys building relationships to understand the client’s “world of work”, and advises L&D and HR professionals at all levels. Sharan is particularly interested in change management and development at an individual, team and organisational level.
Sharan partners with her clients, helping to solve their unique challenges using the power of Emotional Intelligence. She prides herself in understanding clients’ development needs and desired outcomes to recommend the most appropriate solution.
